Harry Orville Morehouse (1884-1970)

Here is an ancestor I need to learn more about.  I got a message today via ancestry.com about him.  His mother (Amy Nichols) was the sister of my great great grandfather (Daniel Webster Nichols).  The man who sent me the message apparently knew Harry Morehouse.  He told me that Harry was a prospector in Alaska.  He never married or had children.  "No wife would want to live like he lived -- in a log cabin in the wilderness."  "But he was happy!"

Harry supposedly moved to Alaska after a doctor told him his health was bad, but ended up living for a long time in the "healthy Alaska air."

He also supposedly left a sweetheart behind!

Sounds like someone that would be interesting to learn more about.  (Oh, and he has the same first and middle name as my grandfather...wonder if Grandpa was named after him or if they were both named after someone else?
